  • Specimens should be frozen ASAP after killing

  • Heads can be dropped at our location at 3040 FM 2118 Bagwell, TX 75412, in the freezer on the south side of the building with proper wildlife resource document completed and attached, plastic zip tags available to serve as WRD

  • $25 fee for ick factor of rotten, rancid, or maggot infested specimens – these cannot go in the beetle colony, they will be returned or I will complete them using a maceration process, hunter’s choice

  • Capes should be cut behind the shoulder and along any WHITE hair, a bigger cape will give you a better mount!

  • Birds can be brought whole frozen or breasted out, Just be mindful that you’re paying me to preserve feathers when you do the breasting! Completed WRD is necessary for birds.

We strive for as quick of a turn around as possible. For euro mounts, the beetles can only eat so much so fast and the degreasing process just depends on your animal specifically. You will be notified for pick up just as soon as your trophy is ready!!

Any specimen left with Northwoods Taxidermy more than 60 days after notification of completion becomes property of Northwoods Taxidermy
